Here he is! Joseph Dale Edwin Bailey. 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 21.5 in. long. Mom and baby are home now, but with certain restrictions on holding time (Joe's got jaundice and needs time under uv light– we can't fit in the suitcase with him so it's been renamed "the toture box"). He's eating well and is very strong. He'll hold his own head up often. He might just take over the blog for a while.

We are soooo glad you are here and that your Mom and Dad survived your arrival. Your Dad was so happy when he told me you had come. It will probably be a while before we meet but you are most welcome into our family.
Joseph means he who laughs and I hope you will laugh alot in your lifetime. Take good care of your Mom and Dad for us while you are all in Germany. Above all else, know that you are loved.
God Give his Blessing on this lovely family and keep them safe.
